Bauma Reports: Crane surprises from Sennebogen

Crane surprises from SennebogenCrane surprises from Sennebogen.

At Bauma 2007, German crane giant Sennebogen is traditionally at the heart of the trade fair (lot F706/1) and welcomes customers from all over the world. The history of company`s cooperation with the largest trade fair in the world exceeds 50 years.

The Sennebogen 4400 Star-Lifter presents the range of crawler cranes at Bauma 2007 in spectacular fashion. With an imposing 52.3-meter main boom and 46.7-meter fly boom, the 140 metric-ton crane shows visitors the way to the Sennebogen stand from far away. In addition to the 4400, the range of Sennebogen crawler cranes includes the 5500 Star-Lifter model with a max. lifting capacity of 180 metric tons, the 3300 with 110 metric tons and the 2200 with an 80-metric-ton lifting capacity.

An important advantage of the Star-Lifter series is the self-installation feature. The crane is self-setting and self-ballasting thus making it ready for operation in record time. Sennebogen crawler cranes stand for high cost-efficiency and robust technology paired with mobility.

For over 50 years, Sennebogen`s legendary rope excavators have been operating with great success in a wide range of industries all over the world. One of the machines to be showcased in Munich is the 650 HD with its 28-meter guide poles and Delmag diesel hammer. This machine is used with this equipment as a pile driver for stakes. Various pile attachments and options such as a guide pole lowering system and guide pole inclination enable great flexibility during operation. As is it easy to unbolt the pile driver`s guide poles, the 650 HD can be used universally as a crane and without restrictions.

Another machine on display is the 683 HD, Sennebogen`s flagship telescopic crane. The lift heights of up to 60 meters and lifting capacities of up to 80 metric tons speak volumes for this model, which was successfully introduced at Bauma 2004. For more than 15 years, Sennebogen telescopic cranes have embodied the optimum combination of flexibility, cost-effectiveness and quality. A completely overhauled 613 and a redefined 643 telescopic crane complete this model series and offer the best solution for any task.

The new 608 Multicrane represents a true innovation from Sennebogen. With its superior design, compact shape (4.86 m long, 3 m high and 2.55 m wide) and maneuverability, the Sennebogen Multicrane 608 is tapping into new work areas. Up to now it had been hindered in this performance class by its size and had been unable to offer the necessary flexibility.
