The German manufacturer of tractors Deutz-Fahr presented the newest range of tractors, which include: the 245hp 7230, the 224hp 7210 and the 263hp 7250. This Series 7 TTV line is oriented both at large-scale farmers and contractors. Reliability, productivity and efficiency – these are the main features of Series 7 TTV tractors.
All the Series 7 TTV tractors have an efficient motors under the hood
Power on these tractors is going from a new 6.1-litre six-cylinder diesel Deutz TCD 2015 V06 engine, that meets either European Stage lllB emissions requirements or American Interim Tier 4. All these happens for treating the exhaust gases with the SCR catalytic converter. 6 cylinders have four valves per each, what provides the larger area of passage for inlet and deflation valves into the engine blockhead than with two valves only. The engine has an intercooler, a turbocharger and Deutz Common Rail high-pressure fuel injection system, which operates at 2,000 bar. Maximum rated power is obtained at the 1,900 rpm engine speed, and the power remains permanent between 1,600-2,100 rpm.
263 horse power of 7250 TTV can track half of the world behind
The TTV Series 7 line is an obvious example of the strategy of Deutz-Fahr which is targed on the downsizing of the tractors and their engines. A high technologies helps even to down their fuel consumption. These engines can also do on 100 percent pure biodiesel fuel or mixed with ordinary diesel.
The transmission of Series 7 TTV is manufactured by ZF Friedrichshafen AG. Having gained a total respect for its reliability, it can reveal the top speed up to 60 km/hr, and while travelling at the speed in 40km/hr it the engine to run at a fuel saving 1,300rpm.
An Anti-Spin regulation operates in combine with differential lock when the accelerator is abruptly pressed. The automatic engagement also activates four-wheel drive, what increases safety while transporting heavy loads on steep gradients.
Braking is provided by the PowerBrake system. Besides the tractors are equipped with the electronic parking brake that receives data from the TTV transmission active control and provide the braking where need.
The hydraulic system obtain a separate power steering pump and an auxiliary circuits pump rated at 44 lit/min. For powering the main hydraulic system a load-sensing pump rated at 120 lit/min is installed. As standard, it feeds four double-acting spool valves. The load-sensing pump can be rated at 165 lit/min and the amount of double-acting spool valves can be increased up to seven according to customer’s requirements. All these spool valves are equipped with flow control functions and timer. Their ports and operating levers are coloured in special way.
The maximum lifting capacity of the rear linkage is about 10 tonnes. The linkage is operated by the tractor’s EHR electronic management system, which offers such functions as transport lock, the oscillation damping for mounted implements and lift height limiter. The lift capacity of the front linkage is 4,5 tonnes. It’s optional.
The MaxiVision can is much more homelike than home itself
In standard the TTV Series 7 tractors have a new MaxiVision cab. Its main advantage is that it is equipped with a bright-coloured display, which allows to obtain a clear indication of each task and the responsible function. All the key options are integrated. This concept was constucted by Deutz-Fahr all together with contractors farmers and one of the leading automotive design companies - Giugiaro. The windscreen area is very large and provides excellent visibility. All the elements throughout the cab are manufactured from the high-quality materials. The seating department of the operator and the passenger is made with thick padding applied.
