A Scotch McCormick X50
The existing range of Scottish Corporation McCormick techniques was added by the latest X50 Series tractors.
Engine power of tractors varies from 85 to 113 hp. The most powerful tractor in the series is X50.50. Unlike the previous McCormick T-Max series, which worn 4.5 liter Perkins 1104 engines, the new series wear 3.4-liter Perkins 850 diesel engines.
Although the last motors are very compact, they have the advantage in increased 9 per cent torque (450 Nm) and the reduction of fuel consumption by 8, according to manufacturers. All these is due to the increased efficiency of combustion. That’s why the engines meet Stage IIIB / Interim Tier 4 requirements. A significant role here is played by the Electronically Controlled Common Rail fuel injection system, which controls accurately the level of fuel enrichment. The compact size of the engine allowed placing particulate filter and catalytic converter in one unit directly under the hood of the tractor. Filter, which stops 90% of harmful substances, recovered even at low engine speeds. The service life of this diesel particulate filter is 3000 operating hours.
Transmission line of McCormick X50 Series tractors exists from 3-speed transmission, a transmission with or without servo.
Among the other things, McCormick X50 Series is equipped with new cabins with wide doors and informative panel.
X50 series will be available since this spring.
That`s McCormick tractors at work.
