Jubilee CLAAS Lexion 780
In honor of its100th anniversary Claas released Jubilee Lexion 780 Class 10 combine harvester.
The new harvester wears a 16-liter Mercedes-Benz engine with a dynamic cooling. Engine meets Tier 4 Interim requirements. Engine power varies from the constant output in 543 hp up to 590 hp when using the Bulge system.
As the previous versions of the Lexion, the new Lexion 780 cooling system takes air from the top, cools the radiator and removes the dust down. Automatic system continuously cleans the rotating basket of the radiator, located directly behind the engine. Lexion 780 radiator screen has been enlarged to 63 inches. Variable-speed fan helps to save energy by adjusting the speed of the rotation at the desired cooling level.
4-link rear axle provides good stability and a smaller turning radius. 67.3-inch alloy wheels with a patented design promotes agility.
The machine is equipped with POWER TRAC all-wheel drive, which is activated by a button.
The CLAAS Electronic Machine Optimization System (CEMOS) established to the combine the optimal setting thanks for the dialogue principle with the operator. The dialogue with the operator goes in three steps:
Lexion 780 has a new header drive. Thus, the continuous power is 107 hp and the maximum - 268 hp.
APS threshing system is now complemented by the preliminary accelerator.
The effective width of 4XL grain auger is 14 meters. Its unload rate is 3.8 bps.
