Land Rover has revealed 2014 Range Rover Evoque
Land Rover has introduced its new 2014 crossover Evoque with the nine-speed automatic transmission. The new ZF gearbox will be available for gasoline and two diesel engines and provide reduced fuel consumption by almost 11.4% and CO2 emissions by 9.5%. The most economical will be the front-drive Evoque with a 2.2-liter diesel engine producing 148 hp (110 kW), which returns 4.9 l/100 km.
In addition to the nine-speed automatic transmission innovations include an optional Active Driveline four-wheel drive, which automatically turns into a FWD at a speed above 35 km/h when the road conditions are normal. A four-wheel drive switches in 300 milliseconds. Active Torque Biasing system improves stability and traction.
As standard, the 2014 Evoque is equipped with a Torque Vectoring by Braking system. In addition new crossover features a wade sensor, traffic sign recognition system, lane departure warning system, parking assistance system, as well as new paint schemes and alloy wheels. The 2014 Range Rover Evoque will reach dealerships at the end of 2013.
