Mazda CX-9 European Debut in Moscow
The CX-9 enjoyed its European debut in Moscow and is another sporty SUV crossover from Mazda which seems to confirm the Japanese brands intent on its future within the sector. The sleek, roomy SUV is the first Mazda to feature a three row bench and has enough space to comfortably seat six.

AvtoVAZ at the Moscow International Automobile Salon
AvtoVAZ, the parent company of Lada, has unveiled the Lada C-Cross concept as part of an expanded portfolio of production and motorsports vehicles at the 2008 Moscow Auto Show. As its name implies, the C-Cross is a Focus-size crossover vehicle that marries advanced features of a town car and off-roader. The company describes the C-Cross as a "conceptual model" and says there are no immediate plans for production.

Renault Sandero Stepway
French automaker Renault has introduced the Sandero Stepway, a compact crossover vehicle designed primarily for South America. The Stepway is the latest derivative off the low-cost and ultra-flexible Logan platform, which was created originally with Renault`s Romanian partner Dacia. Built at Renault`s Curitiba plant in Brazil, the five-passenger Stepway will go on sale in the Brazil market in October, with Argentinean sales to follow shortly after that.

Infiniti G37 Convertible
Nissan has announced that the Infiniti G37 Convertible will arrive in the first quarter of next year as a 2009 model following a world debut at November’s Los Angeles Auto Show. Based on the current G37 Coupe, the convertible will feature a three-piece automatic folding hardtop and several unique interior appointments.

Opel Insignia Sports Tourer at Paris Motor Show
Opel new Insignia estate will premiere at the Paris Auto Salon on October. The third variant to join the Insignia range after the 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback models will be called the Sports Tourer and it will be available in European markets in spring 2009 with a choice of seven different powerplants.
