New 2008 Mazda5 Facelift

Mazda Mazda5 facelift will make its European debut at the Bologna Motor Show. On the exterior the Mazda has made minor modifications to the front dampers and have introduced optional power sliding doors for the pleasure of mother and baby. The MRZ 2.0-litre petrol engine has been completely revised and now has electric throttle and sequential valve timing (S-VT), which makes maximum torque available at a much lower engine speed than before for quick engine response in every gear. Nissan The New Crossover Nissan Rogue The new crossover certainly gives Nissan a vehicle that can compete on an equal footing with the new Toyota RAV-4 and Honda CR-V. The styling is aggressive, sophisticated and provocative. This combination of attractive sheet metal, car-like handling and ride characteristics and interior functionality is very appealing to buyers. The front passenger seat on some models will fold flat providing about 2,591 mm of space for long items inside the vehicle. Standard 60/40 split folding rear seats provide additional versatility for seating and cargo storage. Continue Reading »

Toyota New Potential of 2008 Toyota Highlander The Highlander`s new styling is a little more adventurous than the old version. The materials of the interior feel more substantial than those used in the smaller RAV4. Of course, you`re not getting this nice interior for free: the basic Highlander is about $6,000 more expensive than that RAV4. The Highlander`s front seats are comfortable; this basic model featured manual seat adjustments and no lumbar adjustment. The rear seats are fine, but that`s all. Passengers riding back complained of so-so comfort, citing adjustable backrests whose most upright position wasn`t upright enough. Continue Reading »

Mazda 2008 Mazda CX-9 to Achieve Perfection Though the mid-sized Mazda CX-9 "crossover" SUV was first introduced as a 2007 model less than a year ago, the 2008 model is already here and has been given some updates, notably a small increase in engine size and a resulting boost in horsepower and torque. The 3.5-litre V6 engine used in 2007 has been boosted to 3.7 litres for 2008, and horsepower rises to 273 from 263. Torque has been increased to 270 lb-ft at 4250 rpm from 249 lb-ft at 4500 rpm. This makes the engine feel more responsive and helps improve towing performance. Continue Reading »

Mazda Mazda CX-9 Test Drive For the first test drive of Mazda CX-9 we chose the winding backroads and highways west of Victoria, B.C. on the west coast of Vancouver Island, "Canada`s Surfing Capital". As the roads were wet and slippery from a recent rainfall, it was a good chance to test the CX-9`s optional all-wheel drive. The CX-9 just ate up the curves, and proved very easy to drive quickly.
