UNVI Open - Top double decker Urbis 2.5DD

Spanish body manufacturer Unvi delivered their first new Urbis 2.5DD sightseeing open top double decker to the French company Podiocom. The 12m bus built on a Volvo B9TL chassis will begin its career in July by following the Tour de France.

The vehicle is fully air conditioned and has a removable roof, which is operated electrically by a remote control. Unvi also builds a closed roof version of this bus, three 14m versions of these double deckers on the Volvo B12BLE three-axle chassis have been delivered to Veolia in Norway. The buses have seating for 80 and a standee capacity of 12. They have a 4.2m overall height and a minimum internal height of 1.85m. Full air conditioning, double glazing and a reinforced heating system are among the features.
