Sign of success - Ford F-150 Limited
To its 2013 model year range Ford has added the most luxurious version of the pickups Ford F-150, called Limited. This model is the most expensive in the line of pickups, above the already pampering F-150 Platinum.
With a base price of $52,895, F-150 Limited is the most expensive half-ton pickup that one can buy.
The diameter of the polished aluminum wheels is 22 inches; it is about two inches larger than the wheels of the Platinum model. The wheels are so good that it seems that they are for on-road use only, not to scratch the polished finish. Among other decorations there is the single-tip chrome exhaust pipe, badges `LIMITED`, chrome grille and bumpers painted in body color.
Curiously, for the Platinum version, you can choose one of the three engines, and for the more expensive Limited only a 3.5-liter six-cylinder twin-turbocharged EcoBoost engine is available. With 365 hp and 570 Nm of torque Ford F-150 engine is up to the task. As Platinum Limited pickup it is available only with four-door SuperCrew cab only.
Limited model is equipped with powerful HID lamps. From the driver`s seat it seems that there are two poles with a bunch of lights hanging from them pointing forward. However, one should take into account that the F-150 Limited rides high, and powerful lights can bouncing off the rear and sideview mirrors of cars that travel ahead of you.
The truck is simple and easy to drive. And, despite the fact that not everyone wants to buy it for daily use, this is quite possible, as F-150 Limited is suitable not only for off-road. F-150 Limited combines a truck, a minivan and a luxury sedan - powerful, comfortable and cool.
While driving even on uneven surfaces there is no noise or rattle no matter how hard the frame and suspension are being hit.
The level of luxury is high, the interior is finished in red and black leather, running boards are automatically deployed when the doors open, ambient lighting and aluminum trim. Ford is equipped with an entertainment system Sync MyFord Touch with 8-inch screen and 4.2-inch screen to display the technical information.
Thus, buying Ford F-150 Limited is like buying a luxury car or a sports car, that is a reflection of what you want more than what you need. Do you need such a luxury pickup? No. But now you want one.
