Chevrolet Silverado Volunteer Firefighter and Silverado Black Ops
At the Texas State Fair Chevrolet has introduced two new concepts based on new Silverado, Silverado Volunteer Firefighter and a powerful Silverado Black Ops. Silverado Volunteer Firefighter featuring two-tone exterior is based on the Silverado Double Cab, and is equipped with a light bar, chrome side steps, 22-inch alloy wheels. In addition, Silverado Volunteer Firefighter features a siren, a PA system and fire extinguishers.
Silverado Black Ops concept features lower body armor, a winch, tow hooks, LED spotlights, tubular running boards, fender flares, 18-inch alloy wheels and off-road tires. It is also equipped with a generator, water can, a fuel can, toolbox, a couple of gas masks, a folding shovel, gloves and first aid kit.
Both concepts are powered by a 5.3-liter V8 engine producing 355 hp (265 kW) and 518 Nm of torque, coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system.
