John Deere 744K 4WD Loader Meets EPA’s Interim Tier 4 Emissions
John Deere has added an Interim Tier 4 (IT4) engine option for its 744K 4WD loader that gives customers an industry first: the first piece of big iron to meet the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) IT4 emissions regulations. The John Deere PowerTech 9.0-L IT4 diesel engine for installation in the 744K was certified by the EPA in March 2010

Bobcat 324 Compact Excavator
Bobcat 324 compact excavator is a conventional tail swing unit in the 1.5-ton operating class. The 324 offers a maximum dig depth of 8 feet 6 inches, reach at ground level of 14 feet, and dump height clearance of 8 feet 8 inches. The undercarriage on the 324 excavator hydraulically retracts to a width of just 38.6 inches for travel through gates and doorways, or alongside homes. It can then expand to 53.7 inches for greater performance. Overall height is just 85.5 inches.

New Kubota Tracked Loaders in North America
Kubota has launched two Japanese-built tracked loaders in North America and plans to introduce them also in Europe at a later date. The two models are the 75 hp SVL75 and the 90 hp SVL90. Both are powered by Kubota engines and are Kubota designed, engineered and manufactured in Japan.

Doosan DX350LC Excavator
Despite a nearly 10 percent increase in engine horsepower compared with the model it replaces, the Doosan DX350LC excavator still sips on fuel and easily meets all current Tier III emissions standards. The DX350LC is powered by a 271-hp (202 kW), 6-cylinder Doosan DL08 water-cooled diesel engine.
