The new models W170B and W190B are powered by the latest generation, CNH Tier III engines, delivering 145 kW / 195 hp for the W170B; 169 kW / 227 hp for the W190B - an increase of 13% over the previous model, with torque also increasing by 16%. Featuring three work modes, plus Auto Power Mode, these new models provide the perfect performance in any working conditions.
In Max Power Mode, for extreme working conditions, the operator benefits from peak horsepower, maximum hydraulic power and flow, and maximum traction effort, for highest productivity. Standard Power is for normal working conditions, offering improved fuel economy whilst retaining maximum hydraulic power and flow. Economy Power Mode is for lift and carry operations, with lower horsepower and maximum fuel economy, whilst again retaining maximum hydraulic power and flow.
The W190B now also features the Mid-mounted Cooling Box. There is a choice of buckets, from 3.1 to 3.5 m3 for the W190B. Whilst breakout force for the W190B is unchanged at 17500 kg.
