Ditch Witch has trenching needs covered

Ditch Witch has trenching needs coveredDitch Witch has trenching needs covered.

Ditch Witch, the company known for its expertise in designing and manufacturing high-quality underground construction equipment, has continued to add to its already impressive line-up of products with the release of its largest trencher to date, as well as a new range of pneumatic piercing tools and a horizontal directional drill.

Ditch Witch said the hydrostatic HT220 trencher – its largest trencher to date – was built to provide exceptional digging in both rock and dirt.

Its 164kW capacity is always on show with an exclusive flywheel gearbox that delivers remarkable power to the attachment on demand, while protecting the hydraulic system and other components from shock. Ditch Witch said operator vibration is also minimised by trencher stabilisers, standard on each machine.

"Although the HT220 is not the compact machine typically produced at the Ditch Witch equipment factory in Perry, USA, this machine typifies everything customers have come to expect from the Ditch Witch organisation: quality, productivity and extreme durability," Charles Machine Works product manager Brent Bolay said.

"Working in harsh conditions demands equipment that is extraordinarily durable and sturdy, and the HT220 does not disappoint. From its rugged undercarriages to its reliable controls to its forged, heat-treated, high-alloy steel headshafts, everything on this machine is designed to endure the particularly rugged conditions of rock-laden jobsites," he said.
