New reduced-tail-swing excavator from Hitachi
At ConExpo 2008 Hitachi (Japan) will display the new reduced-tail-swing ZX135US-3 excavator that will replace the 135US. Incorporating Tier-3 emission standards, the new 135 comes with the CRES II cab which is larger than before and has a wider seatback, more legroom, and more glass on the right-hand side for improved visibility.

Crawler Dozer from Dressta
The new Dressta TD-40E Extra Crawler Dozer (Poland) features a quieter, environmentally-friendly, Cummins QSK19 Tier 3 engine. Contributing to a comfortable full day of work is the standard six-sided cab, which offers a deluxe interior with superior all-around visibility. The cab is sealed and has a built-in air re-circulation system.

Upgraded Crawler Dozers from Case
Case Construction Equipment has upgraded two of its crawler dozer models. The Case 750L and 850L, which replace the 750K and 850K, feature Tier III-certified, fuel-efficient engines.

All New Construction Ship
A new construction ship with a 1,800 tonne capacity mast crane has been ordered by Romania-based drilling contractor GSP Drilling. According to its designer, Sea of Solutions, the DP3 multipurpose vessel is unique because it combines three offshore operating capabilities: heavy lifting, pipe laying and tender assist drilling operations.
