Bobcat T320 Boosts Power
The Kubota engine in Bobcat`s new T320 gives the 4401 kg compact tracked loader 67.6 kW of power, 18% more than in the smaller T300. The 1461 kg lift capacity machine is the biggest in the company`s five-model range and has the highest power-to-weight ratio in its class. Although the additional power of the T320 enables operators to push more, dig more and grade more, users wanting greater production from attachments will welcome the 11% boost in hydraulic power of the machine.

US Receives Volvo PL Range Pipelayers
The first of Volvo Construction Equipment’s new dedicated pipelaying machines have arrived in North America. The Volvo PL4611, one of five models in the new product class of pipelaying machines developed by Volvo Construction Equipment, is in full production and available now for the North America market, with the second model in the Volvo Pipelayer (PL) range, the Volvo PL4608, set to go into production in November. Delivery dates for the PL4608 to North America have been set for December this year.

New PT Compact Tracked Loaders from Terex
Terex has launched its new range of compact tracked loaders designed by ASV. Terex has brought the PT-30, PT-60 and PT-80 to market with operating weights of 1500 kg, 2880 kg and 4070 kg respectively. A PT-100 model will follow in 2009. The 25.1 kW PT-30, the smallest loader in the range, offers a tipping load of 726 Kg whilst the 44.7 kW PT-60 has a tipping load of 1724 kg. The 60 kW PT-80, currently the largest compact tracked loader in the range benefits from a tipping load of 2812 kg.

New Excavators CX130B and CX160B for Productivity, Performance and Comfort
CASE Construction Equipment’s new CX130B and CX160B excavators feature the latest technology to improve productivity, performance and operator comfort. The models feature engines with common rail fuel injection and a redesigned hydraulic system to deliver significantly better fuel consumption compared to their predecessors. Productivity has been enhanced with faster cycle times as a result of greater hydraulic power.
