KAMAZ invests in students

KAMAZ will support innovationsKAMAZ will support innovations.

In 2007, Russian truck manufacturer KAMAZ will invest $54,000 in support of innovation activities of students, teachers of universities and company’s young employees. It is planned to give 6-month grants, and a possibility of their prolongation for 6 months more is discussed.

Grant supply of innovation activities will be aimed at financing fundamental scientific research work of universities related to fulfillment of KAMAZ`s foreground tasks. KAMAZ grants are planned to help attract scientific and training specialists who are able to efficiently develop knowledge and create unique equipment and technologies. Grant policy is planned to lead to full and efficient utilization of the research results in the production process, attraction of the most gifted students to finding solution for scientific and technical problems and profitable introduction of scientific and technical products.
