Komatsu is expanding its presence in Europe

Komatsu opens a new office in EuropeKomatsu opens a new office in Europe.

Komatsu Europe plans to use its new € 17 million head office and spare parts logistics centre in Vilvoorde, Belgium to improve customer support and grow the company’s European business. The 3,400 sq m modern office development and 34,500 sq m state of the art warehouse were officially opened last week by Komatsu Europe president and CEO Tsutomu Sakurai.

Speaking at the opening, Mr Sakurai said, “Komatsu Europe has been based in Vilvoorde, which is twinned with the city of Komatsu in Japan, for 30 years. By reinforcing our infrastructure and facilities here, we are equipped for 30 more years of growth.”

The new offices will house Komatsu Europe`s marketing, administration and finance operations, while the warehouse will serve customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
