Yesterday in Moscow, Russia, KAMAZ`s Board of Directors has held its last meeting in this year. The management of the company put corrections in previously accepted strategy of company`s development by 2010 and approved the business plan for 2007.
It is proposed that by 2010, the company will produce and distribute on all markets up to 60,000 trucks annually, in stead of earlier planned 52,000 units. This will allow the company to support its 40% share on Russian market.
The report to the Board about the fulfillment of business plan 2007 says that the sales of KAMAZ goods and services will reach $2.5 bln (28% more than in 2005). The company has produced and sold 43,000 vehicles.
Business plan 2007 foresees the increase of mentioned indexes up to $3 bln and 49,200 vehicles respectively. Company`s net income in 2007 is expected to reach $1.3 bln compared to $0.8 bln in 2006.
