Belarusian MAZ reports output growth

Belarusian MAZ reports output growthBelarusian MAZ reports output growth.

In 2006, Minsk automotive plant (MAZ), Belarus, produced 20,963 trucks, i.e. 103,6% to the figures of 2005. According to information from MAZ public relations center, in 2006 MAZ manufactured its first 4 Euro IV certified truck tractors with diesel engines.

In the past year, 8,003 units of trailer vehicles were produced (9.1% growth). Production of auto cranes carried out by Mogileftransmash, MAZ`s branch, increased by 56.4% and reached 452 machines.

MAZ`s bus production has also displayed rapid progress, 1,692 buses and trolleybuses were produced (65.2% growth). Totally, in 2006 Minsk automotive plant released 19% more products than in 2005.
