Kubota and Australia: 30 years together

Kubota and Australia: 30 years togetherKubota and Australia: 30 years together.

It has been three decades since Kubota Tractor Australia became the Australian distributor of Kubota and Krone equipment.

Celebrating the milestone at Kubota`s Melbourne distribution centre this week, managing director Hiromi Nakanishi said the company had come a long way since introducing compact tractors to the Australian market.

"It`s amazing to think just how much our Australian presence has grown over the last 30 years. From importing dozens of four-wheel drive compact tractors in 1977 to the thousands of units up to 125hp we now import, Kubota Tractor Australia has now become firmly entrenched in the marketplace," he said.

Nakanishi said like other countries in the world, the Kubota family continued to grow.

"As sales and market share figures improve, so does the number of customers who recommend Kubota by word of mouth," he said.
