Kubota Kubota Tractor Corporation and Land Pride, announce a strategic alliance to market Land Pride implements that are performance-matched to Kubota tractors. Participating Kubota dealerships in the U.S. will offer Land Pride implements to sell with Kubota tractors – such as Land Pride rotary cutters, grooming mowers, rotary tillers, rear blades and more.

GM GM starts Malaysian joint venture GM has announced plans to start a joint venture with Malaysia`s DRB-Hicom to sell a range of Chevrolets in the country and possibly set-up a manufacturing base for cars and parts for sale in southeast Asian region. Following the breakdown in talks with state-owned Proton earlier in the year, GM then turned to DRB-Hicom to help take advantage of the country`s cheap labor and free trade agreements.

Isuzu Isuzu ceases partnership with GM Japan’s Isuzu Motors Ltd has ended its on-highway truck manufacturing joint venture with General Motors. Isuzu will now handle distribution and sales in North America directly through its U.S., Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Cerritos, Calif. Subsidiary. The two companies established the GM-Isuzu Commercial Truck LLC, joint venture in 2000.
