Large Orders for Konecranes
Konecranes (Finland) has received an order for 173 industrial cranes from a wind turbine manufacturer in India. Besides supplying the cranes to Suzlon Energy Ltd, the company will get a five-year maintenance contract.

John Deere: Financial Highlights
Sales at John Deere’s (USA) construction and forestry division were down -13% for the financial year ending October 31. Overall though, the company saw revenues climb + 9% to US$ 24.1 billion, due to growth in its agricultural, commercial and consumer equipment businesses. The construction and forestry division saw its operating profits slip - 29% in 2007 to US$ 571 million. A year ago profits for this business line stood at US$ 802 million.

New Customer for Hitachi Construction Machinery in Thailand
Hitachi Construction Machinery (Thailand) Co., Ltd received the order of 4 units of EX2500-5, electric motor-driven large hydraulic excavators and 14 units of EH1700, rigid dump truck from Sahakol Equipment Co., Ltd., who contacted to operate a big project of "80 Million BCM" in Mae Moh Mine of EGAT(Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand).
