Belarusian Amkodor is ready with the trial version of its new logger as was reported by the company`s sales centre.
According to Amkodor, the log loader is based on Amkodor 371-01 skid steer with open-side grapple of 1.450 mm and jaw opening of 2.2 sq.m. its maximum dump height is 4.7 m.
With its lifting capacity of 9 metric tons, the logger is ideal for larger timber factories, such as paper mills. The machine is to be unveiled at Lesdrevteh-2007 trade show that will take place in Minsk from May 29 to June 1.
Today Amkodor`s line-up totals eight timber vehicles. Next year the company plans to release a hauler, particularly for logger roads construction, and a model of 8х8 forwarder. This company`s product range expansion will take on within the limits of the forest sector campaign planned for 2006-2010. Within the period of four years Belarusian Forestry Ministry plans a complete renewal of forest harvesting and processing fleet by buying home forestry vehicle for amount of $8 billion.
