A stronger bite from Bandit

A stronger bite from BanditA stronger bite from Bandit.

A new feature added to Bandit Beast Recyclers is giving them a stronger, more powerful bite. Beast Recyclers, known in the industry for devouring most any type of waste product ranging from wet leaves to shingles, pallets, and refrigerators are now hungrier than ever—and showing no signs of stopping. This new stronger grind is due in part to an innovative advancement developed by the engineers at Bandit Industries: the Extender Teeth (XT) line of Beast teeth. The new teeth help to push a higher volume of material through the Beast with maximized efficiency. XT Teeth are now standard in all new Beast Recyclers, or Beast owners can purchase the XT teeth for their current machines.

The XT line of patent-pending fan teeth features a raker in front of the cutting device designed to keep the material riding above it, limiting the amount of material that can fall below to the cutter-bodies and attachment bolts. Also, a new process of attaching either splitting or cutting type tools to the XT teeth make it virtually impossible to break the tool from its forged holder. Under normal operating conditions, the teeth should last hundreds of hours.

Not only will the XT`s last longer, but the fan XT`s will also extend the life of the cutter-bodies, bolts and the mill. An added bonus of the new XT fan teeth is their ability to control the Beast`s bite to a maximum of ¾", making the machine run smoother while consuming less fuel. The XT`s also push material more effectively through the screens, increasing production. Bandit has also improved upon the carbides used in the production of the XT splitter and cutter teeth, as well as the brazing process used to attach the carbides.

"With this new process of attaching the bits, we are confident that you can`t separate the carbide bit from the tooth," said Bandit representative Travis Lint. Lint added, "Running a row of the Extender fan teeth with a row of non-fan teeth works best in most cases. However, there are applications where running all Extender teeth will yield maximum efficiency and productivity."

Lint worked on the development of the new XT`s, and understands that each client`s operation is unique. "We are confident that Bandit can meet our clients` needs, and are always happy to help our customers determine which system will work best for their particular situation." Bandit has also recently introduced updated double-wide splitter teeth, flat shingle teeth, and pallet head teeth due to consumer demand.
