190 HP Prentice 2664 site prep tractor is the latest addition to the Prentice line of site prep tractors, which includes the 220 HP 2764 and the 260 HP 2864. With a short wheelbase and a tight turning radius, it is compact and easy to maneuver when clearing around structures or landscaping. The tractors are multi-purpose tool carriers with the power to run mulchers, stump grinders and rotary mowers to accomplish a variety of land clearing operations.
The 2664 is powered by the Cummins QSB 6.7L Tier III engine with a large cooling system. The engine is designed to maximize machine performance through a “power bulge” that boosts the horsepower when the engine is loaded. As a result of engine improvements, service intervals have been extended to 500 hours, thereby lowering maintenance costs. The tractor’s load-sensing hydraulic system is engineered to provide smooth hydraulic power while consuming less fuel. A variable displacement pump and pressure compensating system monitor hydraulic power requirements with priority flow for steering to enhance smooth, efficient maneuverability, while providing consistent flow to the working end of the tractor.
The side-by-side radiator, hydraulic and charge air coolers keep everything cool even in ambient temperatures up to 115o. The Quick-Flow selection system allows the operator to quickly and easily install and operate a variety of attachments. The system automatically identifies the tool and dictates the flow from a dedicated variable flow hydraulic pump.
