John Deere Forestry (USA) expands its service network in Russia. The world`s leading manufacturer in Forestry Equipment opens a new sales and service center in Syktyvkar, the Republic of Komi.
The Republic of Komi is known for its forest resources. Hundreds of forest machines work on local logging sites; more than half of them are John Deere machines. By opening a new representative office in Komi, John Deere strengthens its position in the growing Russian forestry market.
Advanced forest machines are constantly being developed. John Deere Forestry and leading forestry operators around the world work closely to develop forest machines even further. John Deere will open a new training center for operators in Komi facilities. "The principal way of development of our business is an expansion of the network of service centers, and shortening of spare and component parts delivery terms", comments Hannu Hietikko, General Director of ZAO John Deere Forestry.
John Deere will continue to invest in its European and Russian forestry networks in the future. Spare parts availability and short delivery times are the key success factors for forestry operators.
