Thanks to the comments and suggestions of their customers, Bandit Industries recently unveiled a groundbreaking new line of hand-fed chippers: the 007XP series.
Some of the most prominent improvements to the new line were to the drum-style chippers. All Bandit drum-style chippers have increased in-feed capacities and enlarged chipper openings, allowing them to more effectively dispose of larger and limbier material.
As a result of this improvement: the Model 1290XP is now a 15” capacity machine (throat opening of 20.5” x 17.25"); the Model 1590XP is now a 17” capacity machine (throat opening of 20.5” x 19.75”); the Model 1890XP is still a 18” capacity machine but it’s throat opening has been enlarged to 20.5” x 26”; and the Model 1990XP is now a 19” capacity machine and it’s throat opening has been enlarged to an impressive 24.5” x 26”.
The drums in Bandit drum-style chippers are 37-inches in diameter, which means most of the material is chipped on the bottom half of the drum. “Because our drums are so much bigger than the competition’s,” explained Jerry Morey, president of Bandit Industries, “Our equipment chips smoother and with less vibration, using less horsepower and fuel.”
