Loglift Jonsered has added a new design of cabin to its J1080 crane for truck-mounted timber handling operations. Providing double slewing cylinders for durability in arduous forestry applications, the cabin-equipped crane provides a safe and comfortable environment for high productivity in adverse weather conditions.
The J1080 crane provides a significant advance in capability to its predecessor, the J1020. A new design of boom with a double slewing system provides an improved power-to-weight ratio, and high torque for handling timber in difficult working environments. The crane is available in two variants, with an outreach of 7.9m or 9.6m, and lifting capacity of 108 or 103 kNm respectively. Both variants can deliver their full lifting capacity on slopes of up to 10 degrees.
