The SH-50 features the Strait Grip bunching finger (patent pending) that tucks trees into the saw pocket, keeping the tops together and creating tight bunches 

John Deere 1490D Eco III - Slash Bundler and Forwarder John Deere presents its new slash bundler, the 1490D Eco III. The new John Deere 1490D Eco III is also available with either a fixed mount or detachable bundler unit. The bundler unit can be detached from the rear frame and the 1490D then equipped with a load space, allowing the machine to be used as a forwarder.

This engine was previously only available on the Model 1890HD (heavy-duty). The Model 1890XP with 180-horsepower engine, nicknamed ‘The Brute`, offers the same high-production 18" chipper capacity on a single 12,000 lb. axle to more than accommodate the weight of the machine.  

John Deere: Improved 700J Series Feller Bunchers New improved John Deere (USA) 700J Series Track Feller Bunchers (753J and 759J) deliver better overall performance. Key among the 700J Series machine improvements is the new hydraulic system. Hydraulic flow is increased by 26 percent for better productivity. Additionally, the hydraulic system adjusts the power levels to send power to the area where it’s needed most. Fuel economy also is improved due to the highly efficient, flow-compensated hydraulic system.
