Manitowoc (USA) will present new Grove GMK5115 all-terrain crane at CONEPXO 2008, March 11 – 15 in Las Vegas. The crane has five axles and a maximum capacity of 115 USt in the US. The crane offers customers strength and flexibility. The GMK5115 combines great reach with the strongest load chart in its class. The company believes that GMK5115 will be a success in the North American market.
The GMK5115 has a 197 ft seven-section main boom that features Grove’s patented MEGAFORM boom and TWIN-LOCK pinning system. Tip heights of up to 272 ft are available with the hydraulic luffing bi-fold swingaway that includes an 11 ft heavy-duty jib for more demanding lift duties.
Other features on the GMK5115 include: MEGATRAK suspension, ECOS electronic control and all-wheel steer. The crane is equipped with Grove’s new carrier cab that launched in 2006 and has five outrigger settings for maximum flexibility on site.
