100-ton Euromatic.3 truck crane

The Italian corporation EuroGru Amici Srl introduced the updated truck crane with lifting capacity in 100 tons – Euromatic.3 model.

8-section telescopic crane boom is made of Weldox 1100 and 960 steel. The main section of the boom is attached to the steering mechanism and moved by a double acting hydraulic cylinder on angles from -2 ° to 80 °. Seven boom sections extend hydraulically using automatic pin locking system. The extension cylinder includes the clip for the block/release of the pins and the pull levers for pulling the boom. The locking pins and pull levers are interlocked mechanically; as a result, if the locking pin is not in the locking hole, the pull levers for the extension will not release.

Main boom length - from 7.7 m to 44.4 m boom length with hydraulic jib (14.2 m) is 58.6 m Maximum height with boom and jib tip - 59.7 m Time telescoping boom to 44.4 m is 360 seconds. Boom is 80 degrees in 30 seconds.

The system is designed to perform pin locking at 45%, 90% and 100%, with a total of 44 extension combinations. The entire management system (sensors, solenoid valves and other valves) are installed on the cylinder, and only a cable winder is present for the transmission/reception of signals. Hydraulic telescope cylinder and lifting boom cylinder manufactured from MONTANHYDRAULIK Gmbh. The main boom has a door for inspection of the various pin locking mechanisms. Boom head has seven pulleys. Sliding blocks in LAMIGAMID 319 composite material. Head pulleys in GMS nylatron. Features anchor hook (63 tonne) with five pulleys.

Construction crane can be mounted on the chassis MAN. Overall dimensions of the crane are 10110x2500x3510 mm. The total weight of the crane (without counterweight and without accessories) is 32 tons. Maximum range of outriggers – 6920x7635 mm.

The turret is installed with planetary gear unit with hydraulic brake, pinion for fifth wheel toothing mesh and axial piston motor controlled by hydraulic valve with release option (free rotation). Includes air-oil heating exchanger for cooling of oil in circulation; double-acting boom lift cylinder with flanged stop valve and couplings for pressure transducers for operation of electronic loader limiting device; main winch with “LEBUS” system threaded drum for increased winding precision of wire rope with direct pull of 5700 kg; hydraulic brake and axial piston motor with double displacement and descent control valve; antirotating high-strength wire rope (Ø 16 mm), visual and audible rotation indicator.

The full turn of the crane on 360 degrees finishes up within 14 seconds.

The frame has self-supporting structure composed of a honeycomb box-type central body and four crossed outer supports to which outrigger support boxes are hinged. Built in Weldox 900 steel, frame is designed and built to give maximum stiffness to bending/torsion due to the static and dynamic loads lifted by the mobile crane.

The turret is built from Weldox 900 steel, fully ribbed and fitted with reinforcements in critical points, the turret is connected to the frame by a main bearing and triple row of ball bearings (1790 mm) with internal toothing (ROTHE ERDE Gmbh manufactured).

Four outriggers are bolted to the frame using four pins in thermally surface-treated steel. The four beam supports are opened by double-acting hydraulic cylinders fitted with stop valve. Inside, the outrigger beams built in Weldox 900 steel are extended hydraulically via a double-acting cylinder. Beam ends are installed with four vertical cylinders to ensure stabilization of the machine; these are double-acting hydraulic cylinders with stop valve flanged to the bottom of the cylinder; side-mark on two side of every outrigger for crane signal on dark work. Boom lifting mechanism consists of double-acting cylinder with flanged check valve, clutch and pressure sensor, which is responsible for the operation of the electronic load limiter.

Control cabin with sliding glass door offering excellent visibility, opening rear and top window (top window has wipers), curved front windshield with double-brush wipers, opening front cover with halogen lights, control board integrated into cabin with switch panel in incised aluminium. Panel is installed with all controls, lamps and gauges for crane operation plus display of electronic load limiting device and display for the selection of extension combination (made by HIRSCHMANN Gmbh). Includes pedals for accelerating and braking truck while working and during hydrostatic movement. Suspensioned seat with double guides includes electronic-controlled joysticks installed on seat arms (procedures performed with joysticks can be customized). The joystick have the winch force feedback (vibration) for turning signal. Foot joystick for hydrostatic movement and hand joystick for hydrostatic steering.
