Grove announced its GMK3060 AT
Manitowoc finally presented its latest three-axle Grove GMK3060 all-terrain crane. This is an improved version of GMK3055 with the better loading chart in every angle. All this is due to the additional 2-tons counterweight, a new cabin and a 43-meter main boom.
GMK3060 offers to operator a new system to optimize the boom load. The operator sets the basic parameters such as the load height and radius, and the system automatically suggests the best way. It ease the operator’s efforts and saves time.
GMK3060 is the first Grove crane equipped with the Manitowoc CCS (Crane Control System). These systems are installed in all new Manitowoc, Potain, Grove cranes. The 45-ton RT550E also got it. CCS means getting of the accurate information about the positioning of several cranes on the construction site. In case the unplanned equipment begins work at the construction site, the crane will stop.
