New Tadano Mantis GTC‐1200
At ConExpo 2014 Tadano Mantis is going to present its new 130-ton telescopic crawler crane GTC-1200. This model will have the largest capacity unit in Tadano Mantis range.
The GTC-1200 features a full power boom with two extension modes, monitoring system HELLO-NET, the load moment system Tadano AML-C, as well as hydraulic cylinders, winches and jib systems produced by Tadano Group companies.
New crawler GTC-1200 is equipped with a five-section 12.8 - 47.2 m boom, which is designed for lift operations; however, it can be used for level, pick‐and‐carry work. The main boom is complimented with 3.8-m lift jib with a maximum capacity of 44 tons, and a standard 10,3-18 m bi‐fold jib with a maximum capacity of 39.9 tons. In addition as an option 7m lattice 2 section inserts are available. The entire jib system can offset at 0°, 20°, and 40°, and a maximum tip height is 82 m.
The GTC-1200 is powered by diesel Cummins QSL9 engine producing 350 hp (261 kW) and 2100 rpm of torque. Its maximum travel speed is 2.6 km/h, and a maximum unloaded gradability - 52 percent.
