Spierings (the Netherlands) has presented the SK498-AT4 that is the follow up of the well-known SK488-AT4. This enhanced 4-axle folding crane with many new developments and innovations is a real addition to the company’s existing range.  

Terex-Demag launches 300-ton all-terrain crane Terex-Demag has launched the AC 300/6, a six-axle all-terrain crane with Superlift, nine-part modular assembly system for telescopic boom extension, a second hoist and automatic counterweight system. The crane can lift a maximum of 300 t and has a maximum load moment of 951 tm. The crane has a 64 m main boom. 

Pettibone Unveils Its Largest Telehandler Pettibone (USA) unveiled the newest telescopic handler in its Traverse Series, the T10056. The T10056 is similar in design to Pettibone’s T8044. Maximum lift capacity on the T10056 is 10,000 pounds and maximum lift height is 56 feet.  

Mobile Giant from TerexDemag In October Terex Demag (Germany) unveiled its new giant crane, the 3,200 tonne lifting capacity CC 8800-1 Twin lattice boom crawler. It has a maximum load moment of 43,900 tonne-metres and is considered to be the biggest mobile crane in the world.  

New Cranes for All Tastes Manitowoc Crane Group (USA) will demonstrate three innovative cranes at ICUEE 2007. First the company will debut the National Crane Series 900H. The 900H is a 27 t capacity boom truck with H-style outriggers. The new H-style outriggers offer the advantage of full-span, mid-span, and retracted-span load charts. This model is available with a 21.03m, 28.96m, or 32m boom. The maximum tip height is 48.16m with the 32m boom and 13.41m jib.
