07.12.2007 Access Platforms for Aircraft Maintenance

Platform Access Parts (UK) has supplied four specially designed access platforms for aircraft maintenance in Dubai. The truck mounted scissor lifts were sold to the Emirates airline. The machines consist of an Isuzu NKR truck on to which Access Parts has constructed a bespoke sub-frame chassis to carry a rebuilt UpRight X32 scissor lift. Maximum platform height is 9.7 m.

Genie Genie Industries introduced new articulating boom Genie Industries (USA) will start manufacturing the Z-51/30J boom at the Terexlift factory in Italy by the end of the year. The Z-51 articulating boom designed primarily for the European market is joining the Z-45/25 model that has been manufactured in Italy since April 2007. Since then over 500 of the Z-45s have been produced.

Palfinger Epsilon Material Handling Cranes Palfinger (Austria) has launched a new three-extension boom design for its Epsilon material handling cranes. The so-called tripleZ crane has a new telescopic main boom mounted to two standard double-telescoping extensions. There are five models: E90Z, E110Z, E120Z, E140Z and E165Z.

Escorts New cranes from India Escorts Construction Equipment (ECEL) of India launched three new pick and carry cranes at Excon 2007 in Bangalore. The pick and carry TRX cranes are available with lift capacities of 23t (model TRX 2319), 17t (TRX 1713) and 16t (TRX 1614).

UpRight New Range of Aerial Lifts UpRight (USA) has introduced its new range of trailer-mounted aerial lifts, which are being manufactured at the company’s facility in Fresno, Calif. New machines include the 37-foot UpRight TL37 and 49-foot UpRight TL49K towable aerials.
