CXT hazardous location hoists Hazardous location cranes and components of Konecranes Americas are designed to ensure the highest safety level required for explosive atmospheres in many chemical and petrochemical plants, oil refineries, gas power plants and waste water treatment plants. The CXT wire rope hoists and cranes cover a wide range of lifting capacities, hoist duty groups, and bridge and trolley types for applications up to 80t.

Lift AICHI Corporation to launch new boom lifts AICHI Corporation of Japan plans to launch new wheel-type boom lifts, Skymaster SP400C and SP460CJ, in February 2008. North American models will be unveiled and displayed in Las Vegas exhibit in February 2008.

The crane is engineered for continuous use in extreme temperatures and in an electrically charged environment with high levels of magnetic flux.

Kato Kato-FAW truck crane to work in New Zealand Auckland Construction Equipment (New Zealand) has taken delivery of the first redesigned NK550VR Kato truck crane. China`s First Auto Works (FAW) built the chassis and exported it to Kato`s Japan factory, where Kato assembled the outrigger boxes and hydraulics, and the complete upper works were mounted.
