JCB invests in telehandlers
JCB celebrated the production of its 100,000th Loadall telescopic handler recently, as the company concluded $16.7 million worth of investment to significantly expand global manufacturing of the machine.

Kato`s plans to return to Europe remain dim
Kato Works exhibited three new cranes at the recent Conet exhibition in Japan. Largest of the three was the 65 tonne capacity SL-650R truck crane. A notable feature is the three section telescopic hydraulic jib that raises the maximum hook height to 58.6 m from the 44.5 m for the main boom only.

Manitowoc Asia-Pacific: meet the challenge – gain the success
Manitowoc Crane Group’s (MCG) Asia-Pacific operation in Singapore has relocated to new premises, due to continued growth, personnel expansion, and the need for increased resources. The Singapore office serves as a regional center for the operation of MCG Asia-Pacific. It employs 44 people, including 20 employees dedicated to Manitowoc Crane CARE services.

JLG and Caterpillar announce shipment of first telehandlers
Leading access equipment producer JLG Industries announced its shipment of Caterpillar-branded TH family of telehandlers for dealers in European, African, Middle Eastern and Asia-Pacific markets is underway.
Under the terms of a 20-year strategic alliance agreement announced in October 2005, JLG will provide Caterpillar dealers an exclusive, full range of Cat-branded telehandlers.

Another member of Liebherr crane family
At its 2006 Customer Days in Ehingen, Germany, Liebherr announced the addition of the LR 11350 to its crawler crane product line. A pre-series production model with a 1,377-ton maximum load capacity is already being used in China for the construction of a chemical plant.
