Kobelco Cranes will unveil a new 110 tone capacity crawler crane during SMOPyC exhibition in Spain. The CKE1100 has a main boom length of 15.2 to 70.1m, with a maximum rated load of 110 tones. There is also the option of fixed jib combinations up to 61m plus 21.3m. The model’s 247kW engine is Tier 3 compliant and incorporates Kobelco’s “unique” engine speed sensing (ESS) control with a three-pump hydraulic system. This provides smooth and controllable power delivery. 

New T2250 Telehandler from Bobcat The new T2250 telehandler from Bobcat offers features and benefits of the skid-steer loader, articulated wheeled loader and telehandler in one machine providing versatility for a range of applications such as plant hire, construction, industry, builders merchants and landscaping. With a height of 1970 mm, width of 1800 mm and length (without attachment) of 4190 mm, the 4.5 t T2250 is as compact as Bobcat`s largest skid-steer loader models and yet offers a loading performance comparable to that of an equivalently sized articulated wheeled loader. 

The New Skyjack SJ66T The Rental Show marked the first event in which Skyjack Inc. displayed its new 66-foot boom lift and 12,000-pound capacity telehandler. Key specs of the SJ66T jib-equipped boom lift include a 57-foot horizontal outreach, 360° continuous rotation, 170° platform rotation, 50-percent gradeability. 

JLG Supply Telehandlers to U.S. Navy JLG Industries was awarded a delivery order valued at $24.7 million for 197 JLG Millennia Military Vehicle (MMV) telescopic material handlers for the U.S. Navy. The MMV telehandler features a maximum load capacity of 11,000 pounds and a Load Moment Indicator system to inform the operator of the capacity limit. 

Manitowoc 14000 to be introduced for the North American market Manitowoc (USA) will exhibit the Model 14000 for the North American market at CONEXPO 2008. The Model 14000 is best suited to jobs that maximize its heavy-lift capabilities. These could be applications such as commercial construction, bridge building or work in fabrication yards and petrochemical plants.
