Logistics specialist OHL is expanding its operations in Plainfield, creating up to 120 new jobs. The company will invest more than $11.3 million at its 3.2 million square-foot Plainfield campus and use a $200,000 grant from the state to train its 400-employee workforce. OHL joins a "long list" of companies such as FedEx, Ryder and Amazon.com that like Indiana's crossroads appeal, Gov. Mitch Daniels said in a statement provided by IEDC.
OHL will begin hiring additional distribution center workers immediately and plans to offer associates training in forklift operation, computer software and operating procedures. Indiana has been especially accommodating and the (state) skills enhancement fund grant allows offering new and existing associates an even more comprehensive and completing training package.
