Bush noticed terrorist treat in US cargo ports
US President George W Bush has declared that he will reject any law blocking Dubai Ports’ takeover of P&O, a deal that puts DP World in charge of some cargo-handling functions at the ports of New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, New Orleans, Miami and Philadelphia.
Critics have expressed fears that this would make the US more vulnerable to terrorism, since the UAE was home to two of the 9/11 hijackers.

Russian government gives green light to imported automotive components
Sunday, 12th of September, a Russian governmental decree took effect to cancel customs duty for technological equipment for automotive and machinery industry which does not have Russian-made analogs.

TNT is leaving French market
The transportation giant TNT and French company Malherbe recently signed the agreement to sell the assets of Logistiques Ladoux, a part of assets of TNT Logistics Holdings SAS, TNT’s subsidiary in France.
The deal and sell of the bigger part of logistic and transportation assets of Norbert Dentressangle, which was reported on December 1st, 2005, make up about 90% of TNT’s business in France.
