New Atlas Copco Scooptram EST1030

.

Atlas Copco has added a new model Scooptram EST1030 to its underground loaders range, which is an excellent alternative to diesel equipment in mining industry. Installation of electric motors has increased the efficiency of the machine, in comparison with a diesel equivalent electric motors require less energy, produces less heat and have a lower noise level.

For example new loader EST1030 as compared to its diesel version uses 40% less energy and produces during general operations 40% less heat.

Releasing the electric version of EST1030 by Atlas Copco is a commitment to green technology in the mining industry. In underground mining ventilation is very important, so electric machines are the best solutions because they require little ventilation and produce less heat, dust and noise.

As mines go deeper, ventilation and heat cause more and more problems, at the same time diesel machines require more fuel and the price of fuel is rising. Thus, efficient electric vehicles are the best solution in future mining operations.

High tension caused the cable to wrap around corners causing cuts and high cable wear. The Scooptram EST1030 is very easy to operate. Operators that have used a ST1030 can easily operate the new EST1030. All the controls are the same as in the diesel version.

To provide safety work environment the loader is equipped with spring-applied, hydraulically released (SAHR) brakes, ROPS/FOPS approved cabin. Ergonomically designed operator cab which is placed on rubber mounts to reduce vibration.

New loader Scooptram EST1030 has received about 90 percent of the components and parts from its predecessor diesel Scooptram ST1030. The diesel version is successfully sold all over the world, so there will be no problems to get the spare parts for the electric version even in the most remote places.
