Caterpillar has announced the launch of its new Cat 834K wheel dozer. The dozer is built on strength of predecessors and features all new operator cab, advanced drive train, new monitoring and diagnostics systems, as well as new safety features.


The dozer is equipped with both semi-universal and coal blades ranging in capacity 7.9 - 22.2 m3. New model Cat 834K is powered by Cat C18 engine producing 496 hp available in Tier 4-Final, Tier 3 or Tier 2 versions. The motor is paired with a planetary power-shift transmission Cat 4F/3R.



The new operator cabin is equipped with automatic temperature control, a touch screen display, electro/hydraulic parking brake, and Cat Comfort III air suspension seat. The Cat 834K features the Steering Transmission Integrated Control (STIC). The interior sound level does not exceed 71 dB (A).
