Sandvik to launch a drill for development in hard-rock mining
Sandvik (Sweden) has launched a drill that is designed for use in rapid decline development in hard-rock mining, civil construction tunneling operations and for drilling 12 to 75 m2 cross sections. The drill incorporates the company’s TCAD system for increased productivity and better accuracy.

Mobile Washing Screen from Terex
Terex Pegson and Powerscreen, world leaders in mobile crushing and screening, will exhibit new Powerscreen Chieftain 1700 Rinser at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in March 2008. Komatsu 930E-4 electric drive trucks to increase productivity
Komatsu America will produce 930E-4 electric drive trucks that will be equipped with the FrontRunner Autonomous Haulage System, an autonomous navigation system that allows the trucks to operate without drivers. Trucks equipped with FrontRunner can navigate a complex mining environment and deliver a 320 short ton payload of overburden and ore without drivers.
