Wacker Construction Equipment AG (Germany) has launched its first portable hydronic heater in several European countries – the E 700M. This new equipment category enables groundwork and concrete curing even at temperatures below freezing. The high-performance E 700M machine can thaw areas of up to 400 square meters and protect them against frost. This provides the least expensive, most efficient means of completing construction projects on time without compromising on quality even during the cold seasons.
In comparison with traditional methods, the E 700M is significantly more effective and is a lot more fuel-efficient. The portable hydronic heater can reach far deeper soil layers and thaw large areas much faster. Plus the portable hydronic heater cuts out the effort and expenditure involved in erecting an enclosure. The E 700M also eliminates the need for an enclosure when working with concrete in sub-zero conditions. It directly heats the concrete to an ideal curing temperature of 18°C to 24°C, accelerating the process and greatly improving results. The new device is simple to use and remains operational at even the lowest temperatures. Due to its high energy efficiency, it can run for an average of 130 hours non-stop.
