Canadian trams Flexity Freedom will arrive in 2016
They will be able to transport 30,000 passengers per hour
Bombardier has received an order from the Waterloo authorities, Ontario, Canada, for the development of future tram line - Flexity Freedom.
Floor of the trams will be so lowered down that it would exclude even one step. Wagon width at 2.65 m will be spacey enough to place two rows of double seats and a wide passage between them.
Novelty will be able to move in two directions. The wagons will be modular and will be gathered in the locomotive of 4 units. Thus, the trams will be able to serve 30,000 passengers per hour.
The first trams are expected by 2016.
