Konecranes Electric Chain Hoist for Wind Turbine Applications
Konecranes, a manufacturer of overhead lifting equipment, has introduced the wXN electric chain hoist for wind turbine applications. The wXN electric chain hoist is lightweight, compact and mounted to a jib crane within the nacelle of the turbine. With a standard lifting capacity from one-eighth to one ton and optional higher capacities, the wXN offers performance-enhancing features, such as a suspended hook, standard two-speed hoisting, epoxy-painted protection and efficient heat dissipation through its ribbed design.

Volvo FM New 11-Line Engine
Volvo has developed a completely new 11-litre engine for the tractor version of the Volvo FM. Its load capacity makes it ideal for weight-sensitive applications such as tanker and bulk transport. The new 11-litre engine is about 140 kg lighter than the larger 13-litre D13 engine. This allows for high load capacity.

New Automated Transmission Volvo I-Sync
Volvo Trucks is now introducing Volvo I-Sync – a new automated transmission for the Volvo FL distribution truck. I-Sync is basically a manual gearbox that has been supplemented with software for automatic handling of gearchanges.
