Toyota Mark X G Sports Carbon Roof Concept
Toyota has presented its Mark XG Sports Carbon Roof Concept with a carbon-fiber roof and other exterior enhancements.
The carbon roof allows reducing the weight of the vehicle. Under the hood of the Mark XG Sports Carbon Roof Concept is a 3.5-liter V6 producing 314 hp and 340 Nm of torque. The engine is combined with a six-speed automatic transmission.
In order to get back in on the action of the European market medium-duty van segment, Toyota has released a new van Proace. New van will be available in a variety of configurations of different body length and height of the roof and also payload capacities. The engine range includes diesel units ranging from 89 to 161 hp. On request, customers can choose glass van, panel van, or six-seat passenger van form.
Toyota 86 / Scion FR-S GRMN SPORTS FR Concept PLATINUM
At the Tokyo Auto Salon in Japan there are a great number of tuners focused their efforts on the rear-wheel drive coupe called Toyota GT 86 outside of Japan and the Scion FR-S in North America.
Toyota racing and tuning partner Gazoo Racing Toyota team has prepared their own concept version of Toyota GT 86, which is called the Toyota 86 / Scion FR-S GRMN SPORTS FR Concept PLATINUM. The concept has received new headlights, bumper, newly shaped taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels in tires size 245/40 up front and 265/35 at the back.
Due to installation of a twin-charger system combining a supercharger and a turbocharger the output was increased up to 330 horsepower and 431 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Toyota 86xStyle Cb Concept
Toyota Original Accessory also prepared its concept version of Toyota 86xStyle Cb which design combines elements of classic and modern style. Most changes take place up front: a new bumper, oval headlights and new badges. At the rear there are new tail lamps, a duck-like spoiler and an original bumper housing new exhaust pipe outlets.
Inside the cabin you can find dark brown colored leather seats, LED illumination for the dashboard. The most important technical enhancement is the new braking system from Brembo.
DAMD Lexus LFT-86
DAMD tuner creators decided to turn Toyota 86 coupe into the Lexus LFA calling it the LFT-86. The transformation begins with a new front bumper, triangular-shaped side vents, as well as the side skirts. The rear end features a new bumper with honeycomb vents, a diffuser and three exhaust pipes. Also Lexus logos and a fresh set of alloy wheels were added.
Toyota 86 Modellista
New futuristic concept Toyota Modellista 86 has not received any performance changes. Modifications include 18-inch matt chrome “Wing Dancer II” wheels wrapped in 225/40 Toyo tires. Concerning the exterior of the car there is a new front bumper, extended side skirts, a glossy black roof, shark-fin antenna and a rear spoiler. Inside: two-tone black and red leather upholstery.
86 TRD Griffon Concept
Also on the base of the sports coupe Toyota GT86 the concept 86 TRD Griffon was created by Toyota Racing Development (TRD). All body parts have been replaced by carbon fiber parts. The entire glasshouse except the windscreen is made of polycarbonate. All changes are made in order to reduce the weight of the vehicle. As a result the weight is decreased by 227 kg to 1034 kg compared with the standard model.
The third Toyota GT86 based concept is called TOM N086V. Instead of a 2-liter engine it has received a 3.5-liter unit V62GR-FSE providing 400 hp and 450 Nm of torque.
In addition, the front bumper has been replaced and there are black wheel arch extensions for the 18-inch TOM Igeta wheels with Bridgestone Potenza S001 tires.
Toyota Corolla Furia Concept
At the Detroit Auto Show Toyota unveiled a concept car Corolla Furia. With its narrow headlights, vertical marker lights, massive grille with a short hood and raked windshield it looks like the Civic and Mazda3. Toyota Corolla Furia Concept length is 4620 mm, width - 1805 mm, height - 1425 mm and wheelbase of 2,700 mm.
